Located 6 kilometres from the Central Business District of Melbourne, getting to St Kilda is easy.

From Melbourne Airport to St Kilda:

1. Limousine - sit back and enjoy the stress-free ride in style

This service operates 24 hours, 7 days per week. You will be met by a uniformed driver at the Arrival lounge holding a sign with your name. Your driver will assist with luggage and ensure a smooth, comfortable and safe transfer to your apartment. On arrival, your driver will assist you to your apartment and provide keys for your stay.

We highly recommend this option if you are not familiar with Melbourne, are arriving outside of business hours or just appreciate a stress-free start or finish to your journey.

Transfers from Melbourne Airport to St Kilda are available from $95 for Domestic arrivals and $110 for International arrivals. Please note that your vehicle is a large passenger car catering for up to 4 passengers and a reasonable amount of luggage. Please contact us if you have excess luggage or 5+ passengers.

Outside of peak period your transfer takes around 40 minutes. Please note peak period to St Kilda is weekdays between 7 am to 9 am. Peak period to the Airport is weekdays between 3:30pm to 6:30 pm. During peak periods allow an additional 20-30 minutes travel time.

Transfers from St Kilda to the Airport (Domestic or international) are also available from $95.

This option is booked with your accommodation and will be included in your total tariff. There is no need to pay the driver so you will save on the credit card surcharge levied by taxis. Please select the appropriate Airport transfer option when bookings and ensure you advise your flight details and expected arrival / departure time when booking.

2. Taxi - The next best way to arrive door to door.

taxi_229This service operates 24 hours, 7 days per week. The fare from the Airport to St Kilda outside of peak period is approximately $70 (plus cr card surcharge) and takes around 45 minutes.

Please note peak period to St Kilda is weekdays between 7 am to 9 am. Peak period to the Airport is weekdays between 3:30pm to 6:30 pm. During peak periods allow an additional 20-30 minutes travel time.

Look for the Taxi stand directly outside the airport Arrival Terminal.


3. Airport and Peninsular Shuttle bus - The most economical and direct public transport option to St Kilda

This service operates between 7 am to 7pm, seven days per week, with 90 minute departures. Drop off is offered to a number of St Kilda landmarks and costs around $21 one-way. The trip takes around 50 minutes outside peak hour. If you choose this method please ask us for the closest drop off point to your apartment. In most cases this will be a short stroll.

4. Skybus Super Shuttle - The quickest public transport option to the City

shuttle2_252The Skybus operates 24 hours, , 7 days per week, with 10-15 minute departures between 5:30am and 9:30pm. The service terminates at the Southern Cross station in the city. Cost is around $18 and generally takes 30 minutes outside of peak hour. Look for the Sky Bus sign opposite Arrivals at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

From the Southern Cross Station take the No. 96 tram to St Kilda. Purchase a Zone 1 two hour ticket for approximately $4 on the tram (coins only). This service operates every 15 minutes between 6 am to 12 pm, 7 days per week and takes around 20 minutes

From the City:

1. Taxi - The quickest and easiest way to arrive door to door.

taxi_229_01This service operates 24 hours, 7 days per week. The fare from the city outside of peak period is approximately $25 and takes around 20 minutes.

Look for Taxi stands in many locations around the city or hail a taxi from the curb.







2. Tram - The quickest public transport option from the City

train_242From the Southern Cross Station take the No. 96 tram to St Kilda.    This service operates every 15 minutes between 6 am to 12 pm, 7 days per week and takes around 20 minutes. 

From Swanston Street take the No. 16 tram to St Kilda. This service operates every 15 minutes between 6 am to 12 pm, 7 days per week and takes around 20 minutes.

To ride the tram or other public transport, purchase a MYKI card from the PTV Hub centrally located at Southern Cross Station (Open Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6pm). This card is an electronic ticket and maybe topped up online for use during your stay.
